New buildings aren't worth the money and time if they can be easily demolished by an alshabab bomb. The city must be secured entirely and thoroughly before embarking on infrastructure.

It looks too small for a gated community more like apartments or a hotel. Somalia has so much land yet they build small compounds.

Btw there are much more prettier homes in mugadisho, the design is over done and not easy on the eyes. They need less cement and more nature.
