That source doesn't look legit to me. Read the last sentence on Egypt. At $7.85 billion, it also has the largest defense budgets in the WORLD.

In Africa, Algeria has the largest budget.

By the way Ethiopia has over 2,300 tanks and 81 aircrafts.

Egypt has over 4,600 tanks and over 1,100 aircraft.

Somalia is not on the top 50. Wanlawein don't question sources as long as it appeases their ego they overlook everything.

Outside of Egypt and maybe south Africa all the other countries are trash don't let these numbers fool you all of them are using outdated weapons.
Also somalia doesn't have 70 tanks it has 30 most are in the north with hawiye rampage in the early 90s plus them selling them for scraps.

Nigga i know Saleebaan HG alone have at least 8 to 10 Tanks, combine with the others around everywhere else it will probably be more then 70

Bullshit, theres not 70 tanks in ALL of Somalia, this is including Somaliland and Puntland. There's about 30 functioning tanks in ALL of the country, most of them are in the hands of tribes.

make no mistake South Sudan have more military personnel then many well known African countries they also have 9 aircraft that is why they on the list.

Egypt will always be number 1 no matter what, they spend multimillion dollars on military more then any nation in the world, also their system is like the communist everyone is Military personal include high school graduates.

Somalia is under estimated,and should be the top 10. i don't know about the North but entire South population Man woman kids, everyone in the south from kids to grandpa is civilian military personal, either they have fired a gun in a war or defending them self's and know how to use it better then any well train western military personal.

there are millions in addis abbaba who never seen or touch a gun, but in South Somalia you will hardly see anyone who can say they never fired a gun. this makes the difference.

And how do you know a sub clan of hg has 10 tanks Did you do a study? Did you count them yourself? Most of the tanks in south somalia are long gone or else we would be seeing sub clans militia riding around in tanks
