So its unique to have the the Co-Chairman (Vice president) elected by members of regional government, but ALL Somalis are doing this in their regional admin (not including Somaliland, as their government is based on a national level, and do not see themselves as a regional admin).
Galmudug elected its Chairman (President), and without going into the politics and obstacles in front them (i.e., Ahlu Sunnah, Murusade and Marexaan elders refusing to partake in it, Puntland and northern Mudug), I found it hilarious what the second runner up for the Co-Chairman said after losing. Bashir Feeraweyne (Marexaan; Reer Dalal) said " waan aqbalay wixi ka soo baxay doorashadaan, inkasto wixi laga balanqaday laga baxay" haha. This guy publically admitted the corruption, he thought it was coronation of him as the Co-Chairman and not an election.
Also, thia president vice president crap needs to stop.
President- leader of Federal government
Vice President - second leader of Federal government
Autonomous region leader - Chairman ( or Madaxa Sare)
Second Autonomous region leader - Co-Chairman (Kuxigeeenka Madaxa Sare)
No more president and vice president, it is ridiculous.
Mamul Goboleed -autonomous region government
Mamul Gobol- regional government
Degmo - County
Degaan- Districts
We can't call everything madaxweyne, madaxweyne ku xigeen, and degmo.
Galmudug election; " Vice president "

Re: Galmudug election; " Vice president "
Somalia should be a loose federation, that's the only way forward to peace. All of these idiots talking about European decentralization and citing places like Sweden should stop talking.
A federal council should rule Somalia, represented by each head of a federal state like a minister president and headed by a federal president whose power shouldn't be stronger than the rest with the exception of war or another national crisis. Otherwise it's a waste. All of these Ministers are also a waste, we don't need many of them, we got more ministers than many industrialized nations but we have no institutions or departments.

I agree with you that we shouldn't address regional leaders "Mr. President", but why only attack Galmudug for it. Seems to me every regional government does call their leader "Mr. President"?!

Already the speaker of Parliament Mr. jawaari said calling head of regional admin as president is unconstitutional.
Assuming these r federal states then we should call them governor.
