So last night after afuur I straightened my hair because I was bored with curly hair. Omg I feel so naked. I haven't applied heat to my hair for over 8 months so my hair grew.

I also started using shea moisture products late last year and I think thats what contributed to my hair growth. .

I am going back to my curls tonight InshaAllah. .

Lately I started doing a lot of hot oil treatment and deep conditioning and my hair transitioned from curly to wavy. I'm quite annoyed about this. The only reason I hot oil and deep condition is to give it moisture not the get rid of my curls. Annoying as fuck tbh.

When you do a lot of deep conditioning treatments, product tends to build on your hair and that weighs your hair down making it wavy instead of getting light defined curls. What I suggest is you use a clarifying shampoo ama apple cider vinegar just to remove the build up and your curls will come back to life.

I prefer my hair straight. My hair is straight from the roots, gets progressively wavy and is curly at the tips. I find it annoying and just straighten it.

Like MissFiora said, you have product build up which is weighing your hair down. Adding a tsp of baking soda to your shampoo should resolve that. Also, you should use a wide-toothed comb to keep your curl pattern.

I use the coconut & Hibiscus line, I use the shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, Curl enhancing smoothie, And I also use the Tahitisn Noni & Monoi Smooth masque for my weekly overnight masque, I put it in before I sleep and wash it off in the morning once a week. I am loving the products so far.


Advo: I never liked that trend. Cassie looked good with it but every chick started shaving her heard and things escalated rather quickly.

Bleach ruined my loose curls.
