Being a Step Dad Why Stereotype

Post by Sumubaridi »

In Somalia, Marrying a garoob was not considered something strange and raising her Kids together with yours was normal both male and female. For some reason, Its not very normal to walk with your step son or Step daugher and introduce them to people as saying," cunugaan xaaskayga ayaa nin hore usoo dhashay or cunugaan odaygayga ayaa naag hore kasoodhalay" in the west. People will look at your with that popping eyes and ask, Saa hada adiga ma adeer baad utahay? aaway ninkii dhalay? oo ma adiga ayaa koriyo ninkii hore cunugiisa?

What has changed? Why are people making raising your step children as something strange?

Is it about the expense of raising the kids mise you are too proud to marry someone's ex-wife?

Refusing to raise kids because it didn't come from your own nuts is silly and arrogant.

If the kid is orphan and the women is straight, than why not?
Your future kids will be half brothers/sisters, so they will be maxram.

But an issue will arise later if the child was a girl, than when she get 12 or 13
she will have to wear Hijaab in the presence of her step dad, which it's a bit awkward.

Nevertheless, I don't see anything wrong with it really.

As far as I understand it, once a man marries a woman and consummated the marriage with her, then her children become a Mahram to him, and he is forever forbidden from marrying them. The Quran states this clearly.

Zero :whew:

Seriously though, I wouldn't marry ex-wife whether she has kids or not unless she can prove it wasn't her fault that they divorced.

My parents adopted one kid back then, they grew to be an Imam of a masjid alhamduilih, I plan to do the same in the future. There's no shame raising a kid that isn't yours.

I'm an ambesso, kill off the other cubs is must. It's always the great serengeti out there.

You can't compare women back in Africa with these ones. In Africa they got married like legit. Rasas badan aya lo riiday and lots of fijaan. The two rival clans called for peace.

These naago on the other hand get married coz

A) they fall pregnant

B) pressure

Markiiba wa leska fura dee. In africa naagahas ciyaar loma furo so remarrying them is normal. In the West they become the trash of others. Wa lagu barbarta.

Shame on any Farah who brings home a garoob.
