Mashallah, love the positivity and good vibes instead of the usual fear mongering on Somali media agencies.

How embarrassing

Rambie ...this was the poet the puntilanders arrested who they released today
thanks to the efforts of a certain Suldaan. He supposedly praised Alshabaab's attack on Westgate mall Nairobi

I think he is just thankful he was not handed over to the CIA et al.
the prospect of Guantanemo bay will obviously play with the mind

He made a poem praising the attack on Westgate mall Nairobi (or so its said
I haven't seen the offending poem).

I don't know what took him to Majeerteeniya, (I think he wanted a Somali passport, and it can only be issued
from Garowe? - confirmation is needed) but he was arrested there and he had been in prison for several months.

His clan elders went to Garowe to free him and he was freed. I think our neighbours wanted to hand him to Westerners
in order to further their narrative that SL is a haven for extremists.

I consider his praise to be embarrassing (but understandable given the circumstances, I suppose)

What clan is he?

Talk about reading it all wrong. I thought he was a Majeerten guy who had a fall out with puntland and was imprisoned then released by Suldan from Sl and came to hargeysa...:snoop:

He was arrested in galgala not garowe. They are plenty of idoors going about their buisness freely in bosaso. No one will bother a law abiding person. PL isims on behalf of his Suldaan worked to get him released.
