Just as I sat down to have Afur.
Biting on my first Sambuus, we heard a small explosion. Automatically thought I was maybe a truck tire or something.
A minute later another HUGE explosion followed.
I never heard anything like that. It was like everything stopped for a minute. I ran to the balcony to see what was happening, only to discover the attacks are very close to our house. And they had attached a hotel nearby I could actually see the smoke from my balcony. 5 minutes later the amisom
We're rushing to the place followed by Somalias special task force(alpha group) The fightings continued and the explosions and hand grenade very intense until just about now.

People are saying they even beheaded the poor people in the hotel.

It was to my balcony. I have to admit it was very stupid but I guess it's just curiosity taking over. But I didn't stand like "hey, I'm standing here"' it was more of a sneak peaking.

They suspected intelligence agencies to use the internet to spy on their operations. So there was a full internet blackout (after they restored telecomm lines) for a long and terrifying while. We all have people we know in the south, so that was scary.

I think they think 3g/4g is still unnacceptable?

Susu, I work from the north and we're constantly sending shipments to AMISOM. They were ambushed by kebab a couple weeks ago, and ALOT of equip (armored vehicles, weapons, grenades) were stolen. I wonder if that's what they used. AMISOM is currently procuring a wide range of new equipment. Makes you wonder how much of this is intentioned.

You've been there for this long and only now felt an explosion? Alhamdulillah....
Aabo was there for business a wheil back and the night he landed, a hotel nearby was attacked.
