Write this down, you can't define a whole culture by the actions of few on the internet.

I'm more interested in cultural customs so I don't commit a faux pas like that time I called 'naya' to older woman.

There are more positive than negative in our culture. People don't always see that.

Thanks. I knew women getting fat once married was common but never knew it was a positive thing in Somali culture :/

Idk i always thought naaya was a female version of warya but I was told by other people it means your women if you call her naaya :Shrug:
About the fat thing I noticed that older somali folks who grew up in rural areas in somalia fancy chubby females while the folks who grew up in urban areas fancy skinner females and call them khalanjo (my spelling might be off) :smugfavre:
How do you not know the ultimate begging skill called shaxad (spelling might be off)
when I was in Kenya this was the norm in my city even these days some random somali nikka would come to me asking me if I can let him hold a dollar :russ:
