Somali universities are a joke.
I worked for a Somali NGO once and had to work with CS graduates from these universities. They really didn't know anything about their field.

do you know cambridge have directly (head hunted) a Student from Amoud University?
He is doing a PHD in education and is got a grant from UK.

I can't say much about Amoud, but all these other Somali universities are more comparable to community college level in the West than real universities.

Cambridge got him directly from Borama 4 years ago (I believe)
and spend every year 8 months in UK and 4 month in Borama
he is even on cambridge editorial team

wtf amoud is in somaliland not in zoomalia......not just students but ANYONE who originates from zoomalia or is a zoomalian 'citizen' must not set foot within the sovereign territory of the republic of somaliland
