This may well explain why Africa is in such a direful state. I mean African people (the Elite and the rich) have really made a mess of their lives and countries by having the wrong priorities in life.

I wouldn't call a little bit of self-indulgence a mess, the reporter did mention some of them buying investment properties. :MJ:
