32 delegates gathered to review progress in political and security areas as well as the new deal compact

Representatives from SW and galmudug...we apploud the broad participation of all key stakeholders; the absence of some of today was disappoinent

We urge all parties to join the reconciliation

We affirm that somalia and its international partners will have no tolerance for those who hinder the process of peace and state building

We renew our call all somalis to join the implementation of vision 2016

We welcome and support the new galmudug regional administration

We look forward to the succesful establishement of hiiraan and middle shabelle regional administration

in line with the committments made at the 2014 london security event and reiterated at the HLPF meeting in copenhagen in november 2014, we welcome and endorse the costed deatealed and prioritized the costs for the implementation of the guulwade plan. Both somalia and international partners commit themselves to mobilization resources of the plan

We welcome the ongoing integration of regional forces, we argue the completion of this process across somalia

We argue the rapid completion of the national security sector architecture and medium term security plan and definition of the roles and responsibilities of the national security sector to be presented at our next meeting

These were the most important points in the communique....they welcomed the undetstanding between the parliament and the govt regarding the 2016 elections but have asked for to clarify their ideas within a short period of time!

And the progress in the financial sector

Mogadishu conference deemed success? Half of the existing 'federal' states did not even bother to attend the damn gathering and yet Qoslaaye and Gang are are already in celeberatory mood back in Villa Somalia!

Ain't no one going to be fooled by a Tent conference held at Mogadishu Airport itself.

Everyone knows Al Shabaab calls the shots in Mogadishu and surrounding areas. As for the rest of the country Puntland iyo Jubbaland call the shots, and there is a good reason they didn't come to a Tent Conference at Mogadishu Airport guarded by Adoon Ugandan soldiers.

btw the Hotel this conference was to take place at was bombed the living hell out of by Al Shabaab just a few days ago.
