First of all let me start saying YES the devil once got the best of me and I participated in qabiil talks but in my defense I was defending my people.


Anyways.....


You people are doomed. While you are too busy arguing about my village is better than yours, the people around the world are passing us by. For God's sakes people go to space and come back to earth while YOU idiots are arguing about qabiil. Allah swt will not help those who wish harm to others. People are killing each other for the sake of qabiil. Subahannallah.


As long as qabiil is your number one priority you will never succeed in life.

I was thinking earlier today. I am American-Somali and that's it. Even when I die the angels won't ask my qabiil. I blame the elders for planting this hatred. It's pure ignorance on our part. If we keep this up, we are doomed.


Since it's Friday a blessed day. I decided to cleanse my heart and soul. Life is short. Enjoy it while you can. Travel and see the world around us. Treat each other with respect. Love one another. Let's celebrate being MUSLIM first.


I love you all and I wish each and everyone one of you success.

And I also apologize to the all the men on this forum who I have constantly called a bitch. I was wrong for that. Allah swt made you men and I should have addressed you as men. My Somali brothers. I know for sure if I needed help I wouldn't ask AA, Asians, Arabs or West Africans. I would feel comfortable coming to you guys.

well, people act outside their chractor. so i am gladyou wont be angry and act as true lady and not react.

nothing uglier than woman who is qabilist. big turn off in my opinion. "if" i ever think of marriage, i wouldnt even think a girl who knows her qabiil's name.

i make sure my sisters never learn their qabiil.

Even when you defend your own village, you are participating in tribalism. You're fuelling the fire. Best way to deal with them is to simply ignore them.

Prophet (pbuh) was insulted many times and he ignored them. When his companions heard of the insults directed at the prophet, they wanted to kill them but prophet told them not to.

Anyway, what's this American-Somali thing? Somalis living in the west except Americans and probably Canadians would never call themselves [nation]-Somali.

Started out great but ended up sounding phony. Both you and I know that you will take the help from whomever is capable of giving it...regardless of their ethnicities.....assuming you have common sense.

Judge people as individuals....choose good people no matter what their tribe...and you would have arrived.

May allah accept your repentance, amiin. I get all worked up when people start their end of the qabiil bashing and waan u dhameystiraa just to prove to them that it can work just as easily the way around, but I always regret it because I was raised better. Somalinet/Youtube and certain websites need heavy monitoring against qabyaalad because it leads young people astray. I never bashed a clan until I joined this cursed website. In Somalia, I was never asked my qabiil, if anything they were more concerned with diin, akhlaaq and Soomaalinimo...its the leaders we need to hold accountable every time a clan beef starts because they are the ones lighting all the fires under our feet.

Hyper...you should not think of marriage as so far away, its like you're still 15. Get up and get married already and insha Allah guur kheyr leh Allah ha ku siiyo.
