Note to admin of Somalinet.com....
Jubaland state exists and its not disputed, made up or a pipedream. Somalinet needs a sub forum for the region so we can post news stories and share photographs of the region as a whole instead of trawling through the 'Gobolada' forums every time we log in.

They will move it to here so I thought I'd beat them to it. You can't trust Somalinetters not to turn this thread into a qabiil thing.

Already a no vote and someone who doesn't know Jubaland exists. Whatever the vote, its a reason to create a subforum. Right now everyone is posting in their hometown/gobol's section, but we need to unite as Jubalandese and see the whole region collectively so we can get a better picture about development and security issues.

jubbaland is still going through a power struggle, it still hasn't come to exist. once the Kenyans and their backed dabaqoodhi are taken out then maybe just maybe it might exist

Prince Daadi...the news, wikipedia, the MP's all would disagree.
Dvision, even so, it exists and we should be able to share all of these comments on a sub forum.
Gabre - I made that up, I prefer it to Lander which is a little too street for me.

Re: Note to admin of Somalinet.com....
It is, it even has armed forces which the UAE recently equipped and a parliament that is widely supported by locals. Everyone is just hating on Axmed Madoobe because he's Ogadeni, there is no other reason for the hostility. He's against Shabaab, he's pro Somalia, pro Somaliland's independence and has no hostility with any region or leader. The parliament in Mogadishu took issues with Jubalands formation because it didn't ask for their permission to exist...but why should they when all the SFG has done for Jubaland is bomb it without consulting even the local leaders...Kenyan bombs just landed in surprise attacks in random areas in the countryside and people lost their lives and their cattle...I hate Hassan Sheikh's hands off, trigger happy pro foreign leadership. He should just let each maamul...well, maamul themselves and consult them before he sends foreign armies in to make Kenyans feel better about Shabaab in NFD.Bilis wrote:Why the haasidnimo, walaaloyaal?

Insha Allah. Kismaayo is actually doing well, its really colourful and vibrant even though everyone deserted it after AMISOM/Shabaab went riot on in it...people are already investing in it again. I own land in Gedo which I want to farm on (apples, pears, stuff we rarely grow) and I'd like to have a villa in Kismaayo to have vacations in, insha Allah. Garowe was my next choice, maybe if I work a bit harder I can live between three places like an Ugaasad.

Re: Note to admin of Somalinet.com....
Kenya matters because whatever happens in Mandheeraa will spill in to Buulo Xaawo and an attack in Lamu could spill into Kismaayo, its just fact, hence the Kenyan influence in Jubaland discussions. NFD Somalis need independence, they are in the same situation as Ogaden/Somali Galbeed and it makes me sad.
