Borama state not awdal state
horta reer awdal and somaliland come in
Why do we keep hearing awdal state (qabiil state of gadabuursi), in awdal there are 3 regions (borama region for gadabuursi, gabilay for sacad muse and zaila for ciise)
why do we keep hearing awdal state, reer gabilay and zaila dont support it and have nothing to do with it.
beesha gadabuursi resides in boorama and it's surroundings, so me must refer to it as boorama state rather then awdal
beesha sacad muse would prefer to stay in somalilan, beesha ciise would prefer to go with djibouti or stay with somaliland.
so in fact awdal state = boorama state, gabilay state and zaila state

Awdal State is just an imaginary project that only exists in the minds of a few deluded individuals from North America. Majority of Reer Boorame are Pro Somaliland.
Re: Borama state not awdal state
i know but still why are they claiming other regions. awdal is 3, so they should stick to boorama stateObscene wrote:Awdal State is just an imaginary project that only exists in the minds of a few deluded individuals from North America. Majority of Reer Boorame are Pro Somaliland.

GEOGRAPHY LESSON 101

BORAME AND ZAILA TOWNS IN AWDAL.

True, and Gabilay will always be a shared town.
As Awdal is a gobol under the Federal Government, if Awdal state was to be created that whole region would be gobbled up. lets say for instance Puntland. Majerteen are the majority, but do not own all districts in it or for example a much easier region to understand Mudug. Majority rules.
If there was a real Gadabuursi state it would go slightly over the Awdal borders.
Why this sudden thread do you want to start some ruckus. You are known to be a troll.
Mahoka please don't throw a tantrum.
Is it because Djibsomali makes your blood boil?
Have you read the constitution of the FGS. You need 2 gobols to create a state.
That's why die-hard Awdal state supporters have switched to a USP stance.
Why are you bringing up Awdal state. Stay up-to-date sxb.
Re: Borama state not awdal state
Don't get angry bro, I am not looking for an argument, I'm just stating you can't be a state if half of the people don't want to. You can't complain about somaliland forcing you but then force non gadabursi. Reer zaila would never support you neither would gabilay. The reason why I say gabilay is because I have seen awdal state supporters including gabilay in their state .RoobleAlWaliid wrote:PrinceNugaalHawd wrote:GEOGRAPHY LESSON 101

For your information gabilay is not shared so let's not go down that road sxb, I know you are smarter then that

Re: Borama state not awdal state
Mahoka alright,
First and foremost I know you want to enforce your claim and undermine the Gadabuursi population by stating Gabiley and adding the Ciise influence in the region, to reduce the Gadabuursi Spirit.
If one says Awdal, they think of Gadabuursi, they are the most numerous there, despite most of the Gadabuursi residing in Ethiopia. This is from a Somalia/Somaliland point of view. When one says reer Awdal, what comes to mind , Gadabuursi.
Gabiley though is a shared Gadabuursi/Isaaq settlement(we are talking about the town), the district is obviously shared, that is out of the question , but the town is also shared it is and always will be. The Habar Awal are a majority there, but it will always be a shared town.
There are more Gadabuursi in Gabilay then there are Habar Awal (Reer Xareed) in Lughaya.
Gabilay
is
Gadabuursi = Maxamad Nuur,Baha Samaroon,Mahad Case
Isaaq = Jibril Abokor
Others: Akisho,Jaarso,Gurgura,Madigaan
Isaaq the majority, but it's shared
The most famous man from Gabiley is Professor Samatar, His mom is Jibril Abokor and his dad Mahad Case .

On to the follow piece

Note: The old Gabilay district, not the be confused with the current town or Somaliland district, but still relevant to shed some light.
Now let's look at this

And let us look at this recaputulation

As you can see in the Teferi Ber camp, the Gadabuursi, among their main areas of origin "Gabilay"
Mahoka you are only adding fuel to the fire. Why are you resurfacing such a topic when 2 gobols are needed for a state. Gadabuursi are the most numerous in Awdal, without a doubt. As for the Ciise's I can't speak for them I am not Ciise, but they are the ones I know harbor great Somaliweyn spirits too. Also the Gadabuursi have great influence in Gabilay/Salal(Zeila) region too.
It's not a coincidence that the Ciise in the past joined USP.
History has been documented and the past rise of the SNM and the influx of Isaaqs in Gabiley does not equate for it being a non Gadabuursi town.
In the past before the civil war there was a peaceful joint Gadabuursi-Isaaq farming committee in Gabilay. Instead of coming up with ways to restore the brotherhood , here you are slinging mud and you wonder why there is disunity and there are pro-FGS landers.
Runta ha la sheego. Gadabuursi harbor a strong Somaliweyn spirit. They just want to see Somali's flourish. Either Somaliland or Somalia(if cadaaladar continues).
With the late MOD regime, it is easy noticeable that Isaaq have become more qabilist in nature. As to claim Gabiley as an only Isaaq town is ridiculous.
Claiming it as an only Isaaq settlement will make you guys shoot yourself in the foot by spreading animosity. One would think after almost 30 years you would know better. The irony is you Isaaq complain about the previous regime 24/7, but are taking that turn.
2015 and here we are discussing what is already documented. You could be discussing ways to improve Somaliland
Democracy is the way to go, not this silly extended term shenanigans and qabilist motivated desires.
This is the sole reason why they are going to the FGS. This cadaaladar, there is no one to blame but yourselves. You fellas are not thinking this through.
Why would one not believe in Somaliland, it's a great concept. Look into yourselves first. Gadabuursi have contributed a lot to Somaliland state-building, but won't tolerate anymore mud being thrown their way.
