Cutting funds and downgrading their office is too different things. All we care about is not their presence but what little funds they can contribute into our society. Actually their presence weights big responsibility on our shoulders no body can protect a gaal from the invisible alshabaab. In other words we are more than happy if they close their office in hargeisa as long as they are keep funding our communities in need. I don't know if our citizens working with them are loosing their jobs. but I think They can be employed in other public or private sectors depending on their personal skills.

EU is not going to leave SL, just lower their workers and move to smaller office. Somaliland doesn't get that much aid from the EU and it is totally inappropriate for them to intervene in an internal matter that has been resolved, we are not like some of our colonised neighbours

Regardless of the the true situation...this move will be a big blow for SL

Vision2016 is an administrative agenda and for the regions where no political development and have not yet created "democratization and political parties" ....so, since SL was thought to have embraced them it was out of this agenda at the moment but any failure in this regard means being incorporated into the westren sponsored vision for somalia!!

If I were you, wouldn't bother with Sahal.
He's a well known SL hater, but unlike others a bit smart,
he doesn't attack directly with his fist. But with his pen, by writting various negative
comments, remarks or what he calls "analysis" on why SL is doomed to fail and Somalia is a paradise on earth!
