Governor Of Gedo Under House Arrest.....
Ethiopian army is detaining the governor of Gedo Maxamed Kalil under house arrest in Doolow. He has been imprisoned for 5 days now despite spearheading the campaign to get rid of Al Shabaab in Gedo. The head of the Red Crescent in Gedo is also under arrest by Ethiopian troops. The HSM government has yet to comment on detainment of these and other individuals in Somalia detained without charge by foreign troops on its own soil.
Impeach HSM and Madobe!

He is detained by Ethiopians in Jubaland, he is not the only one....Madobe should speak out if he is any sort of leader, otherwise what's the point of federalism.

federalism was created to fight against qabiil not Ethiopiagedo_gurl wrote:He is detained by Ethiopians in Jubaland, he is not the only one....Madobe should speak out if he is any sort of leader, otherwise what's the point of federalism.

Re: Governor Of Gedo Under House Arrest.....
The meaning of federalism was not to target qabyalad, we are nowhere near that, in fact you can say it aids qabyaalad, Madobe calls Jubaland a 'Deegaan Daarood' lol. The real meaning behind federalism was to introduce accountability and hands on governance in Somalia and its just not working that way yet. How can you detain the Governor and NGO workers without charge? What sort of democracy does that?
Re: Governor Of Gedo Under House Arrest.....
Dont know for right now but few days ago madobe has appointed a new governor for gedo and those who opposed him have been arrested by ethiopia on behalf of madobe
Madobes interim term-addis agreement- will come to an end weeks later so hes making changes now and wants to implement loyal guys in preparation for "his elections"

Sahal thanks for the information walaal. I really needed the clarity. Its disgraceful that he's chosen to react in this way to non violent disagreements, and I can't wait until it's possible to have ballot boxes in the place of these backroom/shady selections. People should be free to protest but Somalis are too used to dictatorship and censorship.sahal80 wrote:Dont know for right now but few days ago madobe has appointed a new governor for gedo and those who opposed him have been arrested by ethiopia on behalf of madobe

Re: Governor Of Gedo Under House Arrest.....
They all had a chance to be great...they had the whole country behind them (besides a few terrorists) and then they repaid the population with every evil they have ever feared...They have legitimised foreign occupation and give the green light on illegal detentions and even massacres of their own people...no other country on earth has had such treacherous leaders. Fat fucks is an understatement.

you welcome sis. Blame goes for yuulka! Asagaa kaarka reer gedo gubay!gedo_gurl wrote:Sahal thanks for the information walaal. I really needed the clarity. after the addis agreement, there was still some arrangements to make sure the admin is based on a well-balanced power-sharing that could pave the way for many chances-in this stage-
He acted like a rival and had his own opposite initiative for every region... JL, baydhabo, etc.
As for JL he accelerated the situation by opening talks with barre hiiraale so the other group has reached out cabdi shire who contacted with barre and told him to sign the agreement with the presidents group...that why the pms visit to kismayo has failed
Madobe was the only winner
We have lost a whole year and theres no time now bc this govts term will come to end next august and the president is keeping calm bc of the elections...right now mx and most of the dblock r against him.

We can't hold Yuulka responsible for the actions of Madobe in 2015. Lets separate the issues and hold everyone accountable for their own crimes and misgivings or we'll never get anywhere.
Yuulka was already punished by being sacked as PM....Madobe seems to be rewarded by the silence/compliance of this administration, he is a law unto himself and he's dangerous for Jubaland.
Why support Madobe over Hiirale?...They are just rival warlords. Somalia & Jubaland deserves better...we need leaders who have a clean sheet.

Two former jihadis arresting Somalis by using Ethiopians just to feel like they can order Ethiopians about and control a Somali in their home region....They're just living out all their fanatical fantasies out. Somali power struggle needs to be turned into a political TV series.
