Kenyan and Ethiopian leather industry

Post by JamalAddow »

I didn't know Kenya had such a skillfull workforce, these guys are even investing in making their own leather so they don't have to import it.

We all know the Ethiopian shoe/leather industry is owned by foreigners, but you can see that they'll be able to grow in to those shoes.

I can see Kenya competing with Ethiopia if they cleaned up themselves from corruption, cuz they're free from the meddling Ethiopia has.

Somalia should try to emulate Burkina Faso, they've got the largest leather factory inWest Africa which exports tons of leather. We've got the highest livestock, all that hide is being sent to Asia cheaply, we should invest in one or two large leather factories, that'll put money back in to the economy.
