China in Africa

Post by GAMES »

What do you guys think of China's involvement in Africa, good or bad?

I am still sitting on the sidelines, on the one hand, they build your infrastructure and don't get involved in national/local politics.

On the other hand, they hire and bring over mainly Chinese workers. This doesn't help the locals and the country.

china deals in a win win trade.
not out of generosity but self interest.
it is cheaper and faster to have fair deals.

the west offers zero sum deals.
they will always win and you will lose.
they cant help its cultural.

the west used to deal fairly with the rest if the world when there was competition during the cold war.
they were forced to play nice.

after the end if the cold war the real nature of the west was there for all to see.

I agree, but China would probably become like the west in couple of decades.

Once they become the dominant and only African trading partner, they would drive a hard bargain.

They would be no different from European colony of before.

The Chinese recognizes the Adoon cannot build things, and they also recognize they cant waste time teaching their block heads or direct them. Essentially, the Chinese realize that adoons are useless. Chinese are making a fast track trying to advance adoons so that they can compete with the world with their consumer power. Adoons are good at being consumers. Like the adoons here in America---who are just consumers and not the builders or innovators. Chinese main goal is to make USA weak in the emerging world market competition. USA's goal is to have more third world countries be in chaos so that dollar can be strong. Chinese are out to get us, Americans. But thankfully--they would not achieve this goal, at least in my life time. (not to mention, adoons nature of block headedness, and laziness or corruption also delays their progress, as God ordained) It is in my interest for the us dollar to rule the world. that affords my western lifestyle. :eat:

The Chinese came close to colonizing Africa during the Ming dynasty (1300s-1400s). But because of the Mongols they had to focus on internal problems.

The world would have looked really really different if they actually managed to pull it off.

Lol, imagine if Somalia was a Confucianist or Buddhist country. We wouldn't have this dumb Al-Shabaab problem and the crazy moryaan would have been docile people following Confucius' philosophy.

Country would have been 1000 times better under the Chinese sphere of influence rather than the Arabs.

China is actively trying to set up a multipolar world, where there are several power groups around the world.
It does not want to police the world, too much work and costs allot.
China does not have parasitic entities (Finance)in charge of it like the west, so its decisions are geostrategic and economic.
and not about finding a new host to suck on.

The important thing is that china is not hell bent on preventing your development, it doesnt care what you do as long as it gets what it needs and wants i.e resources.
The west is intimately involved in every tiny decision you make in your development.
There are too many rules, you break them or try bravado like Eritrea and tell them fuck off, i run things ..
you get the Eritrea treatment.

Think of it this way..
China wants to trade, they will bargain, and bargain hard, they will bribe your government, try all sorts of tricks.
They will even try a fair deal, because it will work out better longterm for them.

The west appraoches things differently.
They do not negotiate with you.
They give commands / orders. You need to wear a straight jacket ( BIS, IMF/WorldBANK)
then wear a collar and chain.

They dont care who you sell to or buy from, because everything will be under their control..

you protest or try to rebel.
they will bring " democracy" to you..

The Ming Dynasty built the fleets to explore and to stop piracy and enable trade.
They had not interest in colonization, except vietnam which they thought was chinese.
Everywhere they went they were welcomed , arabia, east africa, malaya/indonesia and India.

They stopped the fleets because another faction took over power from the eunuchs, the Confucian bureaucracy,
they wanted to focus inwards.

The Empire of Chaos..

acknowledging reality is not insanity, trusting in what you are told religiously without investigating for yourself is lazy at best,
stupid really.
I am not anti-american or western.. i have stated that i consider myself more western than anything.
I am against the Empire, which the USA is one of its most important vehicles..
