haha was he even a president to begin with? somalia died and crumbled in 1991 when afweyne barre fell from power shortly followed by somaliland withdrawing from the now defunct union to regain its independence it foolishly lost 31 years earlier in 1960

Thats the truth sxb, he would have been a good president if only he knew how to talk to people. When he left and A Yusuf took over, it was the opposite.

A Yusuf knew how to engage people, especially those outside of the country.

Salaad boy, under the xabashi yeey occupation he was on bbc complaining about his house being looted by the xabashis he said dahabki bey iga xaadeeyn . he was complaining alot but did not do anything change under his watch as president only musuqmasuq , and afterwards qaheera u ordey qof deen deen iska dhegaya lkn he did not help his people imika dal ajinabi ku raxeeysanya he was a naive man and looks still naive . He talks about tax lkn isweydentu waxa weyan abdiqasimow al those fine words talking now why you could not put into practice. So many people welcomed him when he was first elected civilians came out for him moqadisho and baydoba but his government was to be know as dowlad hotel. Ugu dambeyn we can all agree ummadu iney is cafiso weyan alla swt luu nqodo.

The good thing about Salaad was, he didn't chew Khat. I hope he is enjoying his retirement, he has done so much for Somalia.

I'd even take him over Qoslaaye, not because he is HG, but because he is smart.

It may not have been a smart move but he had the balls to tell Ethiopia to respect Somalia's borders when he was president. All the dudes that came after him were controlled from Addis Ababa and therefore can't speak their mind when it comes to Ethiopia and Kenya.
