What is your opinion?

Post by ciirkaiyoaduunka »

Hello all,

I'm getting married in a few months, and of course I have a lot on my mind. From the wedding, to the house, decorating,my duties as his wife and life after marriage.

To tell you a little bit about my fiance and I. We have been together for about 5 years. We met each other while I was a sophomore in college. We've wanted to get married after 3 months of knowing each other, but of course like any relationship we came across many obstacles.

Obviously we love one another very much and I want to be the best wife to him. He is nice guy. His mother and I getting along fairly well. I want to make sure I make him happy.

So as a newly-wed or 5 year,10,15,20 year spouse, what do you expect from your significant other to make you happy? What are some wifey duties a lady has? Cooking? Cleaning? Communicating? Going-out? Staying fit? etc

All opinions are welcome. Waiting to read your thoughts!

Never let him smell an unpleasent smell from you and the house,
Never let his eyes catch anything less than beautiful in you or the house,
Never let him eat any food that is not yours (That you didn't make).

Firstival I will tell you what will not make me happy, infact will make passed off out of my skin, is my wife asking complete strangers what will make me happy (even if she is just trolling) Somali maahmaah says "Af jooga looma adeego." So my advice to you is go and ask your husband to be and discuss with what your/his expectation, idea of love and plans for the future are AND STOP WASTING OUR TIME.
And Secondly good luck and hambalyo.

how I will never get back the time I have wasted in reading and replying to this post

LOL -bad smells are sometimes uncontrollable -
And some bad smell are just part of life -

So sister don't panic if one day he smells something bad in the house or in you.
Hopefully you're marrying a reasonable guy.

Lol I heard something similar too; I think it is from hadith.
But some people take it literally where they don't go to the toilet when the husband is in the house for number2
