I don't believe that a single carab Old man traveled all the way from arabia, phuked a line of young African women waiting for him somewhere in the Somali coast then produced 3 million isaaq people. that's hilarious ! same goes to the so called sheikh darod.

Our elders invented the above story so that we can boost our nobility by claiming direct Lineage from prophet mohamed csw through his daughter fatumo. Isaaqs has always been seeking for glory, there was a time we were struggling to upgrade our Status under British colony in East Africa . we claimed that we are a not African, to have better opportunities than other Africans. we are still struggling to put our clan in the global map as a recognised de jure state.


Things changed , Being Somali is more valuable than being banu hashim today. we should search our true roots by investigating Sanaag tombs scientifically. There is no doubt that we share blood and tolniimo "alliance" with other Dir clans. Most isaaqs have nothing against that but I have seen many isaaqs who believe that we should put all Dir under our own isaaq umbrella. lool (me first as usual) unfortunately for those guys , isaaq is a new brand name while Dir is a big brand. I used to serve several hours of Dirism tabliiq in my local marfash every Friday. The qaad was banned before I reached all iidors. The best qabil talk is when murqan is high. I have realised that most dir are not aware of their dirness, especially bigger clans. they claim nothing beyond their respective sub clans such as ciise, gadabuursi etc. its not surprising if Some ciise warabe ask you what the hell is dir lool. in fact some believe similar myth as isaaqs and darods, that their sheikh ciise banu axmed crossed the golf of eden too . The iidoors are more like confused when it comes Dir issues. They have the feeling that they are related Dir somehow, but they are very careful about it. However the believe of isaaq arabness is already decreasing among the youth. Thanks to Somalia's 4.5 system Dirism will be alive as long as that system exists.
