You have to understand the context in which this ruling was made and the circumstances that led to drawing/sculpting becoming haram.LoDoon wrote:Bal aakhiro xalkee bu ku danbeeyn doonayo?

firstly, you have to understand that Art in ancient times was almost an exclusively religious practice and always had spiritual connotations, unlike in modern times where Art is used to convey many things. Artists back then would sculpt stone statues or depict their gods in paintings /drawings to venerate and worship them. Art and religion were intertwined.
Secondly , the early Muslims were pagans who worshipped statues , so it would make sense for them to forbid the depicting of living beings so they wouldn't fall into their old habits and superstitions, do you understand ? Statues and drawings were religious symbols in the minds of early Muslims. So to apply this ruling in modern times is pointless since we have never worshipped Images of gods nor does a statue have any religious significance to us when we see it.
It's all about the HISTORICAL CONTEXT if you understand this alot of things will become clearer and alot less people would be condemned to hell for such trivial matters.

people are killing each other every day, looting, drinking khamr, zina etc. and you are talking about drawings. I'm not saying it's not sin but the biggest 7 sins you'll find it somali community and drawings are not one of them.

EARY MUSLIM FORIBIDED WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
Sxb No muslim forbids anything nor has any muslim ever forbided anything!
It is Allah SWT who forbids( xaraam) and permits (halaal) what ever He Wills.
It Allah who made it a sin to drawing depicting life forms.
Why are you trying to reform what does not be reformed. When Allah SWT has perfected Islam and delivered to us by the Prophet caleeyhi salaaalaaam perfectly.?

The Quran is Allahs words and to my knowledge there is no verse in the quran that forbids depicting humans in art , and besides do you really believe that someone would burn in hell for simply drawing a human ? use your caqli !.
