I haven't created this thread to bash Somali men because hadan cayno ama hadan amaano mar walba waa rageeni.

So anyway first of all let me say this, I love aabahay, abo kale weligay heli maayo and mar walba xaqa waalidka ayu igu leeyahay.

With that said, I grew up like most Somali's. With a Abo there but not really there. I honestly feel like Hooyaday waxaay noo aheed abo iyo hooyo ba.

Markan xasuusto dhibtay Hooyaday macaane noo soo martay qaar kood marmar waan ooya.

As much as I love both my waalid, Hooyaday ban mar walba kun jeer ka jecel ahay aabahay.

People always say a boy needs a father figure, but girls need their fathers around just as much. Hablahu waa caar, Ilaahay ha asturo.

Our generation is suppose to know and do better but when I look at the youth of today... .

I think it all comes down to this, Ilaahay ban ka fogaanay/dhaqanki ba laga tagay.

Bibaaye- Maybe I shouldn't speak for every woman but I definitely felt like there were a million times I wish I had my Abo around more often.
