Somaliland and Puntland Should Join Ethiopia

If you guys want real federalism where you control your own territory and still have a federal government than join us Ethiopians. We are decades ahead of the Zoomalis in Mogadishu. Camel herders aren't meant to run a government. I see the peaceful people in Puntland and Somaliland being controlled by Chimps in South Somalia.

As for the point that is brought up in the thread, I agree that Puntland and Somaliland should join Ethiopia. In the long run, it is in our best interest (i.e native cushitic Somalis) to have the Darods of Puntland and the Isaaqs of Somaliland be absorbed among the Habesha and Tigre. Our people will finally be able to be unified under the Somali banner without these foreign interlopers, while the Darods and Isaaqs are more genetically related to your Habesha and Tigre. The continued existence of these people in our country has simply made central governance completely impractical due to the inherent ethnic differences that prevail. This major issue is coupled with outside influences (western and yours truly) who also do not want to see the emergence of a strong and effective central government. The latter issue, however, is easily dealt with once we can unify our people under one banner.

This will be the first meaningful step in liberating these lands and all of our lands held by the Ethiopian government. All we need to do is wait a sufficient amount of time for these populations to be forcibly assimilated into the Habesha and Tigre. We will wait a century or two if we have to before enacting the next steps of this grand plan. You see, unlike you promiscuous and animalistic Ethiopians, we true Somalis have a natural affinity to delaying instant gratification. That trait is one of the fundamental characteristics that distinguishes man from animals.

I agree with you on the EU style union but that's not gonne happen for the near 50 coming years. The union will consist of Ethi, SL, Dj, Som, Eri and maybe Sudan. When Ethi, Dj, Sud and Eri are free from dictators and become fully democratic countries and SL improve their human rights/equality and Somalia is in peace then it can work like the EU. The name should be more like a historic name or place these countries share like punt( The punt union), Neast(north-east africa) union or simply The Horn league/union
