1.Somalis living in NFD-Most are poor just trying to make a living in a mostly neglected region.They are also alienated because they don't know if they are Kenyans or Somali nationalist.They are deeply tribal and still have the qaabil mindset.

2.Rich Somali sujuu and government officials-They mostly settled in Nairobi and other parts long ago.They are deeply embedded with the overall Kenyan population.They also carry huge political influence on the government.Have no sense of Somali nationalism.They mostly aren't affected at all by security crackdowns.Most are ogaden and isaaqs who were brought to Kenya before independence.

3.Somali refugees from Somalia and those carrying western passports-Most keep a low profile and don't interact with other Kenyans.They are just here temporarily but some have morphed into number 2(above).They are the most affected when it comes to crackdowns.
