russia gets sucked into the syrian swamp!

Post by sahal80 »

an IS-affiliated foreing 2000 bombers known as jaysh al muhajireen have joined recently al nusra front so they can fight in the coastal/north westren front!

the majority of al muhajireen are chechens and other caucasian groups from turkmenistan and turkey

Looks like now that al nusra is gaining more popularity among the muhajireen and foreing jihadists....turkish intelligence will likely open the gates for them!

a joint statement by the west, turkey, qatar and saudi arabia warns russia from fueling more extremism and radicalization!

In saudi arabia, the scholars have issued a jihadi declaration against the russian orthodex crusaders!

All that is needed for an Afghanistan Part 2 is for the Gulf States and Turkey to begin supplying the moderate rebels with state of the art anti-aircraft weapons and increased munitions. No more excuses. They should also open their borders to volunteers from across the Muslim World. Assad and the Russians first then Isis last.

SFGs contradictions!

no foreign policy at all!

This is what happens when everyone goes and makes photoshoot meetings

Are they playing with fire?

The russians have been trying to get egypt on their side regarding the syrian issue since the two countries are "at war with IS"

Its understandable egypt since russia supplies them weapons...even so they have no political relationship with syria, this is only about "security cooperation" in the russian way

Syrian president has claimed recently that theres a gulf pressure on egypt but are trying to cooperate on the security issues

using somalia bc it has terrorism issues?

f-king idiots!

Looks like it was an arranged meeting bc they have been welcomed by his female secretary while getting out of ban ki moon office

This is really getting interesting week by week. The line is slowly being drawn in the sand.

On the one side you have coalition forces made up of:

Turkey
Saudi Arabia
US
UK
Gulf states
Jordan

Who want Bashar Al Asad gone.

They bomb ISIS targets but leave the rebel groups who are fighting Bashar alone.

On the other side you have:
Syrian regime and military
Russia
Iran
Hezbollah.

Who attack the rebel groups but leave ISIL, so can save Bashar Al Asad.

Its interesting times sxbayaal. I hope this doesn't lead to a major conflict that becomes WW2.

you cant put all of these anti-russian camp in one backage

The westren countries were/are only calling for assad to leave with out support for the rebels

Bc of russia and iran, IS getting closer to damascus, they r now inclined to the russian/iran stance on syria similar to irans role in iraq in dealing with the "sunni extremism"

France differs from the rest of the west in this and wants a democratic/sectarian based governance in syria and have it along side with lebanon, therefore, assad must not be included in the transitional era

jordan is just a room war and seeks financial gains by offering these service for israel, the west and even russia!

UAE is more zionist than the west and israel and now they r in secret talks with russia to finance russian-equiped militia and volunteers similar to the UAE-funded black waters wich used to operate in some somali regions

UAE is against any islamic/sunnism-affiliated group to replace assad

Even in yemen, the UAE is part of the war but they are against the saudi tribal-islah allies to run the country, they want ali salahs son instead

KSA, qatar and turkey have their own proxies in syria and they want to establish a friendly sunni regime in syria

Egypt has no good relations with the new saudi king, its dictated by the dubai ruler and its crown prince

Here is egypt supporting "the russian resistance against terrorism"

afghanistan part 2?

are you nuts...
This is fantasy not reality...

The Russians know exactly the trap, if putin did not fall for the trap in Ukraine, do you think he will in syria?

The russian action was in response to the no fly zone agreed by the
US and Turkey..
Erdogan was begging and crying for this since 2012, the US said no..
He got the approval 2 weeks ago and US planes were given Incrilik airbase for the no fly zone..
Putin launched the operation to spoil this.

What you missed in the news was that for the past year Syrian Armed forces were retraining and re-equiping , while keeping forces hidden from western airraids..
The build up of Iranian forces was also ongoing, but today there is no need to hide them, because there will be no flyzone and no
free airstrikes by the west or isreal.

phase 2 will involve Syrian army, Iranian forces and hezbollah.
Russia will provide airsupport..

They are in an area far from Sunni majority in latiikiya and there are enough marines and special forces to defeat any attacks.
All they need to do is keep the airwar going and defend their positions.

all they need are maximum 5000 troops no more, and they can do this comfortably with minimum losses for years.
right now there are only 1200 russian troops defending Latikya and Tartus..

If the two ground forces are evenly matched in terms of hardware then it becomes a war of attrition and Assad cannot rally as much troops as the opposition.

The Russians are a game changer but if the rebels are equipped with advanced anti-aircraft weapons then they can at least pose some threat to them.

However, as thing stand, the Sunni rebels are fighting with a handicap and the West/Gulf Arab States are not willing to risk arming the rebels to the teeth as they fear that some weapons will fall into the wrong hands.

Tough times are ahead for Muslims and humanity as a whole, but one thing is certain: When this conflict is concluded, the Dajjal's empire will cease to exist.
