Ethiopians more Patrotic than Somalis

Post by Sumubaridi »

Every Ethiopian that I have met seemed to be pro-ethiopian and love their country. Every Somali that I met is pro- region and pro qabil than pro Somali gov't. Even though Ethiopians have this so call federal states, that seem nothing to them. They are proud to be ethiopians and support every project that its gov't does in addis.

Why not Somalis?

Sumu, sxb they are current.
NO one in the pictures I posted is carrying the current Ethiopian flag this is the Ethiopian flag and see if you notice it in those pictures.
ImageSxb Ethios are divided, hate each other ethnically and politically and are at each other's throats and show utter contempt for their government. They are lucky in that the UN and the West protect it from facing worse situation than Somalia is experienced/ing

I cried when I saw Somali Minnesotans of the hebel hebel clan protest with signs like "Hawiye iga dhulkac waan daallee". That shit was too funny.

I agree with you even though there are groups in Ethiopia from the Oromo or Amhara etc. that hate the TPLF and Woyane government. These same people would never want to see Ethiopia in chaos or disintegrated.

Overall Ethiopians would never allow what happened to Somalia to happen to their country. Patriotism is installed in their heart before clan or tribe.

Somalia will get better insha'allah, we shall overcome, and start to prosper again. We can easily dominate horn politics but it needs time. We also have educated, bilingual brothers and sisters outside the country who can contribute to the country's re-building process...
We need to reunite and always fight for the dan guud...to get from point A to point B is hard, but once there, it's as easy as knowing what is on your left and right.
Ethiopia and kenya fear us, if an elephant falls down on the ground, even an ant would try to step on it to feel superior for a day. Not worried about them. ... :som: :som: :som:

It's mainly cultural.....Ethiopians, by and large, are a sedentary people as opposed to Somali nomads.
The Ethiopian system of governance has always been feudal with a king and princes ruling the country.
Somali's have always resisted over lordship preferring an egalitarian system of Xeer.

Ethiopia is building an arms & armament industry that will soon become 2nd only to South Africa, has started a space technology sector, and has never been stronger and more united in it's history.

Meanwhile, we're enjoying 3 decades of hatred, secession, division, & anarchy; 3 decades of famine, starvation, self-inflicted genocide. But all that doesn't matter because verily this dunya is only temporary, this dunya is the prison of the believer. Because when we get that pie in the sky, the rest of the world will be burning in hell for eternity!!! Verily indeed zat is za truth.

Don't forget, "we" are better than "them"! God wills it!! #HeavenAreBelongToUs

Ethiopians Celebrate a Mass for Exhumed Haile Selassie
http://www.nytimes.com/1992/03/01/world ... sie&st=nyt

Haile Selassie was deposed in 1974 in the revolution that brought Lieut. Col. Mengistu Haile Mariam to power. The Emperor died in mysterious circumstances a year later at the age of 83, and many Ethiopians believe that he was slain.

His remains were exhumed two weeks ago after being found buried under a toilet in the grounds of the imperial palace in the capital, Addis Ababa.
Colonel Mengistu was overthrown by rebels last May.

Ethiopia - Multi-tribal, multi-ethnic state that has existed 2000 years prior to the Somali State. Has had a strong central government for most of it's history and has a population 10 times that of Somalia. It has large tracts of arable farmland, many major rivers and lakes and a temperate climate.

Somalia - Multi-tribal state that was mishmashed to form a nation about 60 years ago. Has had no central state or government before that and has a population less than that of Singapore.

Let's not compare apples and oranges.

If anything, it's a mystery why Ethiopia is so poor and living on US/EU handouts. Any other nation with that amount of history and resources would be a superpower by now.
