Every once in a while you come across a group of Somalis celling themselves intellectuals or you hear about nations/organizations announcing conference meetings for "Somali Intellectuals". Some1 emailed me today asking me to join such a group. I told him to change the group's name before I consider.
In my opinion, this "intellectual thing" is demeaning and insult to every Somali dead or alive. It means there are two groups of Somalis: So called intellectuals (western attire, english lang skills, etc) and the rest, intellectually challenged millions.
Look a most Somali meetings, u'll hear "wax gradka" more than any other group
Every normal human being has intellect
