What do you think of this Somali husband

Post by Sumubaridi »

He let his pregnant Wife to take the dangerous route of Somalia-Libia-Sea voyage while he remain in Somalia with the 6 kids. This does not seem a typical Somali husband. Somali husbands are suppose to be the risk takers. Also, the reason why so many Somalis take the risk is because of people who have already made it trying to stop them. Somalis will be like, hadii habar uurleh tagtay, I can definitely do it.

Maybe was her idea to take the risk. If I know a thing or two about somali women, they are leaders back home and in the west. They took leadersship of household cause men wouldnt do it any more.

Or maybe her family paid the money and she did not trust him match. When the husband goes to Europe with the wife's money, he becomes a bully and might even divorce her. That is my initial thought. If he owned the money, he would not let her take the voyage.

I think the Somali man is submissive like most Somali men. We all know Somali women run the country..

Brilliant she made it, worked out for her now she can sponsor the rest of her family. If you think about it's diabolically genius plan. People have more sympathy for a pregnant woman then they would have for man or even a non pregnant woman.

I'm happy she survived that harsh journey. But still, xiniyahaan iska bixin lahaa intaanay xaaskaygu tahriibin. Xitaa iyadoo waxba dhalin, bal iskaba daa inay uur leedahaye!
