I know the primary reason y'all support secession is cause Somalis are still tribal and you fear the southern tribes would monopolize power and resources. But what if a nationalistic group took power in Xamar. Would there still be a need for secession.
Btw as a staunch Somali nationalist myself, I feel happy seeing my brothers up north prospering but I strongly oppose any disunity of all Somali people.

Fok xamar! How about that. Monopoly? Worried? About you guys? You guys have the whole world picking apart the south meanwhile you "strongly oppose disunity ".
The problem is ppl like you who never did and never will see somaliland as a country that unified with another country. Instead you subtly use words like "secede", to undermined our sovereignty and our right to regain independence

I don't support the tribal government in xamar in any way. I'm a Somali nationalist as I said before.burcaawi14 wrote:Fok xamar! How about that. Monopoly? Worried? About you guys? You guys have the whole world picking apart the south meanwhile you "strongly oppose disunity ".

Let me use your language then, Only the isaaq are calling for independence, so that already undermines your credibility and you aren't any different from the tribalists down south who you criticize.
It goes against my intelligence to stoop so low as to support any qaabil.

There's a difference. I support somalilands right to regain it's independence and that's completely political, I said nothing about clans. You're the one who injected that into the topic. I could care less about any beel; but If clan x,y and z don't agree well we could easily do a referendum and we know the vast majority of ppl would support gooni isu taag. Like i said in my previous post, you PPL can't bare the fact that somaliland was independent before somalia and is pushing to regain it's sovereignty. Certain clans don't define international borders, unfortunately we live in a post colonial world. If somalilands previous borders only included isaaq inhabited land than that's where somaliland would enforce it's policies. Horta Fix up you're house mate, we're fine the way we are.jamal859 wrote:I don't support the tribal government in xamar in any way. Ok lets make it this way so that we are all happy. The dlulbahante and gedobursi and other pro unity clans join Somalia. The remaining are free to form their own stateburcaawi14 wrote:There's a difference. Jamal
Majority of Gadabursi and Dhulos and of course Warsengelis are pro Somaliland pro independence, referendums would finish the job but we all know that's why DFS is afraid of it.

That faqash method won't work to divide somaliland into isaaq and non isaaq divisions that method to distablize somaliland didnt even work for afweyne or somalia it will always backfired.

Lol I'm a Somaliweynist and even I don't want anything to do with Xamar. It is the seat of corruption, tribalism and assassination. Any hope of unity in the future will hinge on moving the capital to Hargeisa and the north having more political autonomy.
