I once many years ago, called in and said that I couldn't find my house keys thus, couldn't leave the house as I couldn't leave the house unlocked, I had to wait for somebody to come home and the person coming earliest was my mum at 3pm.. It actually sounds very possible

I am not sure about this one because they might not let me back to work unless I am certified to be healthy enough to return to work and they might even send me to the company doctors.
