Pray for Paris, Syria, Libya etc.

Post by TheFuturist »

Pray for Paris, Syria, Libya, Iraq, Uyghurs, Rohingya, Yemen, pray for Palestinians. Heck even pray for Martians. :tocry:

But what about Somalia, your own country? What about your people? What about the the 260,000 Somalis who died of STARVATION in the 21st century. What about the 10,000 Somalis who were mercilessly murdered by invading Ethiopians in Southern Somalia. What about the women, children and men who are not safe in their own homes, who live in oppression in their own lands in Western Somalia. What about the Somali women who are RAPED on a daily basis by AMISOM troops. What about the Somalis living under occupation by Wahabi extremist Somalis/Pakistanis/Afghanis/Yemenis/Whites who call themselves 'Al-Shabab'.

Where is your dignity? Your honour? Dhiig daranaa dadkani. Shame on you.

A lot of the shit happening in Somalia is mostly self inflicted.
We can be the change we want to be......but we don't. :)

The reality is that our people have become numb and indifferent to the suffering of their own, because suffering has become our status quo. We need to collectively recondition our minds and seek to alleviate the pain and suffering of our people by eliminating everything that contributes to that.

Hyperactive that is fine, but it is problematic when you pray for a stranger whilst neglecting your mother, brother, sister, father, grandparents.

Unfortunately Somali society has become too corrupt in every sense.
I can't see a change for the better anytime soon.

OD there not corrupt, there just lost, they don't know whos friend or foe and tbh I don't blame them but I do blame them for the lack of unity with their own blood. I understand that Somalis killed eachother but that's the past its 2015 almost 16 now unity is strength.
