No wonder why turkish support of dj is shrinking.
after the peace deal with kismayo, there was arrangements of turkish company reconstructing and managing the port...I heard this project was stopped by yuulka who had meetings in the UAE...as former livestock officer in saudi arabia, mainly dealing with boosaabo port, he had an ambition of making kismayo port a rival port of mogadishu, boosaaso and berbera...he also had meetings with arab businessmen to open a fishery company in kismayo.....this is why madobe was worry of yuulkas back door policy!
They also had disagreement over the security bc yuulka was pro-JL SNA and getting rid of all militias...this file would have been in his office not the presidents office...it was part of their conflict and its the reason why yuulka was representing the govt in london SNA meeting....full stop...no comments pls on this issue....just the dubai ports

Re: dubai world ports deal with the somali govt
There are stakeholders in Mogadishu who are opposed to restarting livestock export from Kismayo. Mogadishu port gets much of the livestock it exports from Juboyinka and Gedo.
If Kismayo restarts livestock export, the Jubaland administration could easily quadruple its tax revenue and become more self-sustaining.

140 years ago Hobyo was bigger than it is today, with multistory buildings. Nowadays waxa ka dhisan cariish uun, very disappointing to see it in that state.
