That the majority of Somalis today have Arab names :meles: It would be great if we could use our SOMALI names in future for our children :up:

both my mom and dad got somali names but they gave me arabic name :snoop: :sadcam:

until 3rd grandfather, that all i know have muslim names.....mostly Abdul.... and Ali, hussain, hassan (could be somali too, cause somalis using it 1000 of years).

I like all the names that end with -diid.
Caydiid, Saxardiid, Qaybdiid, Qaad-diid, Gama'diid (Futurist thanks).
