hmm no indonesia or Kazakh...they have the top armies of the "muslim" nations. Turkey is the only strong one there...Egypt has the ability but I doubt them. SA have the means but have cowards as soldiers. Comoros, Palestine, Somalia and Djb are useless there.
Re: S.A to form a 34 muslim country military coalition

Led by SA?
That's like Tony Blair leading the ' Chilcot Inquiry'.

Ah yeah, I knew I left something out. Pakistan is a force to be reckoned with. If they were an economically sound nation, they could probably top India.Shirib wrote:Pakistan?Otherbrother wrote:hmm no indonesia or Kazakh...they have the top armies of the "muslim" nations. It is a good thing that Somalis are in there. As a matter fact, the Somali government has limited choices and will have a lot to lose had we tried to refuse joining this coalition. Even though this is an alliance against Shia Iran and the Houthis in Yemen, our refusal to join that coalition would do more harm than good to us, since Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and UAE are the countries contributing very heavily to the formation of the Somali security forces, and at the same time paying huge portion of the funding provided to the Somali government.

Re: S.A to form a 34 muslim country military coalition
I failed to see what all the excitement is about. Another useless excuse to get together like the Arab League with no tangible results. They are led by SA who get their marching order from Washington who's sole mission is to subdue and dismantle all and any Muslim country that do not adhere to the White House's authorized Qibla.
SA is responsible for the bombing of innocent Yemeni.
Israel's bit on the side...and are complicit in the suffering and occupation of palestinian lands.
and
They grease the wheels that keep Lucifers Infantry (ISIS), turning.
A cause for concern, not celebration.

Re: S.A to form a 34 muslim country military coalition
The Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and the Defence Minister stated, " these countries will coordinate efforts to fight terrorism in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt and Afganistan". What about terrorism in Somalia and in the Muslim Nations of West Africa? Alshabab and Boko Haram? Aren't they considered terrorists by Riyadh? This is Saudi Arabia's version of the Coalition of the Willing, but this time, it is directed against Iran. The ultimate and final war between Shia and Sunni. The Inclusion of many of these countries like us is only symbolic, unless they order these countries to close Shia schools/mosques, kill and arrest Shias and their leaders.

Re: S.A to form a 34 muslim country military coalition
Once again, the Khaleej armies have proven to be incompetent, that's why they hire other countries to do their work. In 1991, Saddam Hussein overrun Kuwait's petrol station in two minutes and the Khaleejs refused to confront Iraq so they brought 33 countries (including 3 nuclear powers) to drive Iraq out of the Gulf whereas, it took Saddam 8 years against the Persians where they ended up as a stalemate. Yet, the Saudis think they can confront Iran especially all the protection they receive from outside?
90% of the security apparatus in Arabia are trained and protected by the Pakistanis so why do they talk as if they can defeat Iran 1 on 1 when they are being protected by outsiders while Persians have 3/4 of their troops in Syria and Iraq including the most notorious Farsi leader Qassim Suleymani who take selfies in the middle of the war zone? It clearly shows how they take seriously in wars while Saudi troops are taking selfies with brand new toys in a safe military bases while the outsiders are doing all the work.
It's been almost a year and with all their big toys despite being world number one arm importers and trained by the most professional armies worldwide since 1991, yet they cannot even finish off the Khat chewing poorly armed Houthis. Not only they're struggling against them but also, the Houthis brains are fried due to excess khat consumption so the Khaleejis with mighty F16s/Tornadoes and quality mechanized infantries can't even fight someone who suffers from hallucinations, depression and delusional behavior etc.
Few weeks ago, the UAE withdrew and imported 800 Colombian mercenaries after the Houthi ended up on Saudi border villages. I never believed the Houthis because they are from the Rafidha sect but having seen with all the humiliating videos they post on the net, I can understand why the Khaleejis forbid any reporting on combat in Yemen to avoid embarrassment.

How about the Palestinians themselves (don't know if it is Hamas or the PLO) signing up to this coalition? Is this real?Siciid85 wrote:Lol Muslim army? They can form an alliance to fight poor Houthis, but don't bat an eye when Isreal massacres Palestinians. Bunch of cowards

This is disgusting and utterly disgraceful for African and Asian countries who chose to become the slaves of Saudis who only care for her interest. Saudis says they will combat terrorism but she will never support East Africa or West Africa who are suffering from terrorism!
The so-called "modern" Ummah is only focused in the Middle East while the rest of the Muslim world is almost as if it's silent and completely disconnected from Muslims. In lectures, Khutbas, media, charities and anything being widely discussed from Muslims and scholars, they will always be discussing about the Middle East which have been on flames recently but most Muslim countries in Africa and Asia have been marginalized for more than half a century yet have been barely mentioned or goes little unnoticeable by Muslims.
Another thing is what I have noticed is that, Ajam (non-Arabs) tend to look up to Arabs more than their own or other Ajam Muslims. The Ajam scholars and Muslims discuss or preach about Syria, Iraq or Palestine more often than their own countries or the Ajam countries that have been burning as well as going there there (eg: Syria) while ignoring their own country or the Ajam countries.
They have suddenly become 'analyst' as soon as one of the Arab countries hits the fan and turn on their Twitter or Facebook every hour feed to check updates. The Khutba would be wild and the Muslim presenters and scholars in the media would be discussing about these topics. I can't stand this hypocrisy especially when they make repetitive calls for "brotherhood" or "unity".
