demographics change, bay& bakool alone has more population than the entire PL which is sparsely populated so this degaan thing can wait as far as i am concerned and that was the reason sh.hassan was argueing today.
this degmo thing is and remains siad barre legacy and as of today 2016 it has no relefence,i dont see abgaal representation, hawaadle representation, habargidr represention in lower shabelle or alta jubba which is thier degaan.this degmo sharing thing is a thing of the past, one man one vote system.

the falacy
a small degmo which was coined by siad barre in nugaal is inhabited by 500 people---------automatically they get one Mp and one vote in the parliament.
on the other hand,a bigger tuulo which has more than 49,000 people get no represantation since siad barre didnt name it degmo,Image

Man, I will gladly give all our seats away if it means cutting ourselves completely from these people

I'm going to assume your talking about Burtinle. First of all, Burtinle wasn't f-king "created" it was already there and because of its growth it was turned into a district: Burtinle has a population of around 9,000 inhabitants. The broader Burtinle District has a total population of 34,674 residents. It is primarily inhabited by Somalis from the Majeerteen(Cumar Maxamuud-Reer Xirsi) and Awrtable, from the Darod clan Somali ethnic group. Get your numbers right pal lmfao 500 kulaha. And what f-king 'town' has a population of 49,000 that's a city not a town, which place you talking about??

Buaale is majority Absame, should be 1 Ogaden, 1 Bartire and 1 D&M
Shiikhaal should get no seats in Badhaadhe nor in Jariiban, their seats should go to MJ and Bajuun.
How the hell can D&M have any seats in Afmadow  Maybe they meant Bartire
Sakow needs a seat for Marehan. Jilib take seat from Dir for Ogaden. Kismayo take seat from Galjecel for Ogaden.
Garowe take seat from MJ for Carab Salax.Erigavo take seat from Isaaq for Warsangeli. Xarardheere take seat from HG for Abgaal.
Kurtunwarey take seat from HG for Tuni (egregious xaqdaro!)

All degmos are real except for Galheriri and Maxaas. If those can be degmos then so can Salagle and Xagar.

:mindblown: So let me get this straight, despite being the largest clan after Hawiye and being the largest clan in the entire horn of africa when included with Dir - Isaaq get less seats than Darood and Hawiye and not only that have to share theirs with Dir?

Have fun with your fake colonised country because hell will freeze over before Isaaq join AMISOMIA

The largest Somali clan is Darod by a wide margin, then Dir, Hawiye and with the smallest being D&M.

Darod 32%
Dir 26%
Hawiye 20%
D&M 16%
5% others (including Madhibaan, Bantu, and Gibil Cad)

It would make more sense to have MPs proportional to the population. Underpopulated barren districts having the same representation as an urban center is sheer lunacy. Plus how is Gadabursi represented with their negligible numbers in Gabiley when the Sacad Muuse living in Lughaya or Baki Districts aren't?

You telling me Isaaq as a whole will have the same amount of seats as MJ'?

I feel like someone is deliberately trying to antagonize Isaaq which I don't really mind. :diddy:

I really hope they do implement this.

ps. Isaaq are more than Darood in the Somali Republic proper not including clans in Ethiopia and NFD
