Why are African parents so irresponsible?

: I went to Hararge a few years ago and I remember seeing so many Oromo children on the streets begging for money. literally the whole streets were covered with underfed parentless barefoot children whove either become professional beggars or pickpocketters who target tourists coming to the city. AIl I kept thinking was where are these childrens parents. Where are these irresponsible parents whove decided to have 10 children despite the fact they cant even support themselves. I dont even want to have kids until I establish my career, why are these people having so many kids when they cant even afford shoes. I get it that they are poor due to circumstances they couldnt control and I shouldnt be talking as a westerner, but these people should still limit their family sizes so that they could have enough money to atleast raise 2 children who wouldnt be malnourished as that affects brain development. 2 Well fed children have more potential than 6 malnourished children. Its depressing seeing so many malnourished children who have no future and it made me miserable throughout my trip .I wanted to help them all, but I knew as long as they keep having so many children, the problem will just keep growing.

And this is replicated all over Africa where the average birth rate is 3 times more than the west despite the fact that most people live on less than 5 dollars a day.I dont get why we Africans are so irresponsible when it comes to the future of our children

Those children are not parentless, nor are they begging on the streets by their own accord. Their parents/adult caretakers are usually in their vicinity and have trained them to beg on the streets. A child does not learn to to beg, they are taught and socialised to do so. In Hargeisa or Burco, for example, you will see hordes of Oromo/Amhara kids begging. Their parents are usually loitering on the same street keeping a close eye on them.

this issue does existed all over the world, although Africa and Asai have more problem and lucky of education, i have more issue about must somali family who live in western who still having 7,8,10 kids expecting the state for suppsort and don't care their kids future education. somali children are the lower in lead table of education in must Scandinavia and UK in comparison any other ethnic minority.

Actually most asian countries have lower birth rates, even the poorer ones like indonesa. China is now around 2.1 whilst india is 2.6.
Nigeria is 6.

In the Qur'an Allah said that the provision/food for everyone, whether an adult, a child or an animal, he will give each and every their provision and their provision is already decided by Allah whether it's 1 or 10.

Because having 10 children is your direct ticket out of poverty. Kids will work for the family and feed you. When you're old as shit and got no one is when you will regret not having children.

Also, out of the 10 children only 2-3 would have made it to adulthood but now thanks to medicine and vaccines all 10 children make it to adulthood.

if all 10 kids make it to adulthood for many families then the population is gonna explode.
This is basic logic.

My grandfathers had 7 and 9 kids from both sides. Most made it to old age. My father had 9 kids all made it to adulthood. I'm gonna have 3 kids maximum because I don't need 9 kids.

same thing applies to everyone in the world.

Mexicans, Indonesians and Brazilians used to have 4-6 kids just a few decades ago and now their average is 2 kids.

Education, Having money and empowerment stops crazy population growth.
