Good news because Landers, Ethiopians and Kenyans all need to understand the importance of keeping Hiiraan solo entity.

Hiiraan n Maay nation have to be kept on their own. The Ethiopian army should be kept there rather than patroling the border.

After all Ethiopia does not have official border with Somalia (Italia Somaliland) but Provistional Administrative Line.
One of its sectors has never been definitively demarcated, thanks to disputed interpretations of 1897 and 1908 treaties signed by Britain, Italy, and Ethiopia. This sector was delimited by a provisional "Administrative Line" that was defined by a 1950 Anglo-Ethiopian agreement, when the United Nations (UN) established Somalia as a trust territory. After it became independent in 1960, Somalia refused to recognize any of the border treaties signed between Ethiopia and the former colonial powers. The Somali government also demanded a revision of the boundary that would ensure self-determination for Somali living in the Ogaden. Consequently, the frontier became the scene of recurrent violence and open warfare between Ethiopia and Somalia.

Data as of 1991
As far as I am concern, the Ethiopian government needs to keep Hiiraan and Maay Nation separate in order to later negotiate with this entities as separate autonomous states over the demarcation of the border.

Yours advisor,

The Haudian

No room for theatrics. The world won't end in Jowhar. Concessions must be made.

There will be order

This is not true...some of these elders have legitimate concerns regarding the capital status citing that jowhar will not be different than kismayo(should be buaale)cadaado and baydhaba so they want the admin to be moved to beledweyne while buuloburde getting ready for this

But you know unnukaa leh care much about jeebka than anything else so holding the conference means alot for jowhar...while they r busy on bunka, dj will pass their murashax...so it's part of the deal!

They promised us "someone from hiiraan" but he could be Farah abdulqadir!

It will not be accepted but how can hawadle have both the capital and the president? That's why there's farah abdulqadir scenario!

Or keeping the hawadle president in jowhar forever, where he will be in a weak position!(all this to avoid beledweyne as jowhar is not different than banaadir)

Anyways the elders will attend it.

I remember while I was in cadaado this summer at Galmudug shir, there was a lot of bickering as is the case with any Somali gathering, surprisingly a lot of the HG were silent at the great injustices regarding seats being made almost equal to marexaan and minorities with no degmo getting a lot of seats

I inquired to several HG politician's about this to which they unanimously responded " we know, but let the state be built first, recognised and inaugurated, we can always make the changes later"

it was a stroke of genius, they were happy with Ahlu Sunnah not being part of it, because they knew once reconciled, ceyr will further boost the seats and no one can argue about it.

Its almost 5 months of bickering in Hiiraan, everyone thought Mudug would be the hardest but hiiraan is shaping up to be the most difficult

The easier you guys accept the DJ character HSM is bringing the better, we had fiqi vs DJ, it will benefit you as he will be allied with the government, and if HSM is not re-elected it will be easy getting rid of him, this stale mate benefits no one.

These elders not long ago were in garowe, the capital of fitnah, the place were the destruction of Somalia is engineered, The great satan that openly recognised another 1 gobal qabiil state this week to cause more strive, so I am not surprised why they rejected it, once those scums in garowe get a hold of you, like they did with wiilka quruxda badnaa former PM Sacid, your demise will soon follow

hiiraan is pro-govt naturally and doesn't associate itself with anti-govt regional blocks but if you try to marginalize it it will be against the govt. The problem is garguurte who has no confidence in his clan regions that why guleed for galmudug, another close guy for hiirshabelle while he lets free other regions politicians such as southwest and JL

Why will you be against someone like godah who has helped you in the elections? When he got elected hodah was living in hotel jazerra and as he convinced some politicians to vote for him in the second round he took him to that hotel to get what he promised for him....during the JL crisis, hodah and hoosh were campaigning for him in Nairobi and was beated for this....his role in vision2016 conference 2013 in Mogadishu...

Garguurte said at one event with the clan " all clans ask me more ministers and important ministerial portfolios except hawadle who would say we dont wanna that guy we want this guy!

You see he's against our beingness though we supported him!

When your coming to hiiraan don't bring with you farah abdulqadir...he's not the interior or even a minister!

I used to be against yuulka but now I understand why he hated this guy....one day he found him talking to the gedo elders by phone and he got crazy saying to him stop f-king middling in my tolka you worthless peice of sh!t!

Yuulka was at this time convincing mx to join maamulka with full rights...he wasn't supporting madobe he was supporting JL block...offered barre hiiraale to command the regional army wich is the reason why madoobe was worry of him.

Fuck I got problems with this english based automatic mobile time to change the system

the conference will happen, i dont understand why some elders lag behind it is because they want laalush, but real elders are coming to jowhar.
if buuloburde gets the seat of the maamul,it is benefit the stracture, the conference is only few days and it will benefit jowhar,i would have supported if jowhar made capital and hawaadle is given position that will exchange from time to time that is ok with me as long as i see tangible improvement on the ground.

as a foreigner looking from the outside, what I see in the maamul region making process in your country somalia is that choosing a capital and selecting a so called president are linked in most emerging regional states and that clanism is underneath the linkage between these two issues

for example why is that if reer x produces the leader of a maamul than the maamul capital should be at a town mostly resided by reer y

we have to understand that capitals are permanent unlike leaders and that any person can be a candidate - who cares if clan z holds the presidency and the capital of a maamul at the same time

yeah but not just political clanism there r also developmental reasons. Take example for Mogadishu where every thing is conentrated. Tomorrow, it will be about federal capitals as every regional state will have hospitals, universities, institutions, offices to deal with visa, hajka etc...we won't go xamar for everything

Some regions r dominated by one subclan like galmudug, puntland....hiirshabelle should be dominated by abgaal and hawadle equally...leadership should be rotation

Since abgaals have more advantages like mogadishu wich will enjoy similar london status like holding mayoral elections, r dominating in villa somalia, xoogaa culayskooda dhinacaas buu ubadan. Masalan shirka turkey ka dhicidoona waxaa soo fariisan xassan sheekh, banadir governor marka macquul ma aha another abgaal hiirshabelle president in the conference laakiin hadii xagaas wax iska badalaan dhinaceenay u soo riixmi.

hiiraan & shabelle state is fine, there is no hirshabelle.as for city regional,i think jowhar should have been a better choice,it has a small population, well planned and relatively peaceful in the last 20 years,it can develop quickly ,and sahal can get the president if he wants.laakin buuloburde seems a nice compromise.
