Anyways i ended up on the 'Somali American' Wiki page. And on that page it says there are 85k Somalis living in the US, and the states with significant Somali population and yada yada yada...
I scroll down to the 'Notable Individuals' and was surprised that there are alot really influential Somalis listed there.
Somalis account for $165-$394 million purchasing power and own over 600 businesses.
To be fair, i did the same thing for Canada and typed 'Somali Canadians' and went to Wikipedia.
When i scrolled down to their 'Notable Individuals', i was met with A'maal Nuux, Amir Amir, K'Naan, Sweet Rush, Eyan Elmi.
The only notable person i recognized was that Ahmed Hussein, the baldy who was recently elected to Parliament. The rest were Models, Singers or and other riff raffs.
WTF is wrong with reer Canada, they have no freaking influence or prestige.
LooL and to be even more fair, i Googled Somalis in UK and was even more disappointed.
They don't even have a Notable Individuals. There is one person called Mark Hendrick who is in the parliament and is listed as 'Anglo-Somali'. LooL WTF is Anglo Somali.
Y'know its really amazing, the Somalis in the US are the youngest diaspora community with the majority arriving in the early 1990's. Both Canadian and UK Somalis have lived there for decades and have nothing to show for.
