Shooting outside hookah bar becomes Edmonton's first homicide of 2016

A man wounded in a New Year’s Day shooting outside a hookah bar has become Edmonton’s first homicide victim of the year, police said Thursday.
Abdikadir Mohamed, 25, who died in hospital Thursday, was one of two men shot outside a hookah bar at 111th Avenue and 93rd Street at about 4:30 a.m. last Friday.
The two men had already been taken to hospital when police arrived. Mohamed had serious injuries and the other man had non-life threatening injuries, police said at the time.
It was one of two separate shootings and four stabbing incidents that kept police busy across the city Friday morning and landed several people in hospital with serious injuries.
The guy that died was Marexaan, the other guy was Dhulbahante and the other shootings that evening the guys shot were supposedly Isaaq.
Wallahi big problem for somalis in this city, when I moved from British Coulmbia like 10yrs ago none of the Somalis from BC or Alberta knew about this lifestyle, it all started happening because of the Somalis out east in Toronto and Ottawa introducing their relatives out west and other Somalis to this lifestyle. People in this city don't fuck around wit "mali niggas" cuz they're supposedly savages or some shit, anyways this a dumb lifestyle to lead. Inshallah our lost youth get it in their head to leave this lifestyle before it's too late.
