How can we differentiate ourselves when it comes to the Arab world

As salamu alaykum walaalayaal.
We have an issue that needs to be tackled with our Arab brothers. They have had it with walanweyn jareers and are kicking them out of their countries by the boatload. These bantus have destroyed our name in the process and now our Arab brethren all think we have the same culture and looks as these people that we have nothing to do with historically and culturally!
What can we do to differentiate ourselves from these people and show the Arab world that there is a massive difference between us and the walanweyn bantus and their culture? I know accepting more refugees from Yemen and Syria is a good first step and integrating them into our nation inshallah. What other ideas do you have that could set us apart from these people?? Let us brainstorm some ideas as the more we set ourselves apart from these people the more validity our claim to independence becomes in the eyes of the world.

Instead of trying to seem better to these people you clearly worship why don't you sit the Fk down and remember you're Somali. So are these "Wanlaweyn jareers" you're trying to put under your feet.
How can anyone respect you when you obviously don't respect yourself?? And all to be one with a group of folks who don't even know what Arabnimo and unity are lol have some dignity!

Walaal how am I being a hypocrite? The truth is we share more in common with Arabs than we do with the walanweyn. We share no deegans with walanweyn nor do we share a common culture. Even the language they speak is very hard to understand for me and most other Somalilanders. I dont about you but my grandfather had much business dealings in Yemen and was married to my Yemeni grandmother. There is a reason why Arab refugees always choose to live in Somaliland and not Somalia. Our cultures are practically identical and many of us speak the Arabic language. Your disdain for Arabta and love for walanweyn makes me very sad.

Dont forget that our ancestors were Arabs and that the Arabs are a people that are inherently blessed.

Many Snetters are atheists who hate Arabs. Some Somalilanders here, for no reason, hate Arabs even more than they hate Walaweyns. That's why you won't get any reply in this website.
The new Somaliland government started to restore diplomatic ties with Arab countries specially UAE and Kuwait which is a good move.
I totally agree with your approach.

Unfrotunatley for you..you do share similar looks with the walanwayns and no one can tell you guys apart from them unless you folks speak or they speak. Since Arabs do not understand the different Somali dialects..you are pretty much doomed to suffer the same fate as the walanwayns. Regardless of differences..Arabs do not care for you because you are a black african. They believe they are superior to you in all aspects of life. If Arab acceptance means this much to you...continue with inferiority complex, otherwise wise up and respect yourself enough to know no man is better than and that you don't need any man's approval.
