The Curious Case of Rise of Shiaism in Nigeria

Post by AbdiWahab252 »

Before the 1980s, there were very few native Nigerian Shia in Nigeria. It all changed with the rise of Sheik Zakyzaky, a former Sunni Nigerian man who went to Iran to learn about Shiaism where he studied the theology. He returned to his native land with support from Iran he proselytized to Sunnis and Christians. Slowly, year by year, the number if Shia grew. The total number of Shia now stands at least 5 million which is an incredible number considering that before 1980, there were almost no native Nigerian Shia.

It is amazing how money can help spread any doctrine.

Boko Haram have pretty much converted the remaining Sunnis to Shiism. Africa should take a leaf out of Shiism, Mormonism, Catholicism, the Anglican Church and Wahabbism. Iran, USA, Italy, Britain and Saudi Arabia all formed their own indigenous versions of large religions. They export these faiths and are winning major support for their countries by spreading these ideologies. Africa needs to stop being the religious dumping house if it truly wants to become a first world region.

There was pictures of Nigerian Hezbollat wannabes posing with yellow flags and Nassralat-Khamanei posters in the middle of Nairobi.

No wonder why the Nigerian army commited a massacre on them.

Frankly, I find it hilarious that Africans or Nigerians, or whatever---having "Sunni" and Shiaahs" conflicts. The idea is an oxymoron. I mean, I can understand the pure but regrettable Saudis or rather "Arabs" engaging this in this Quraaish topic----but Africans-- Somalis included--that is a farce. A laugh out loud. Its like asking a Monkey to be outraged about two sector of monkeys--one sect that uses fork and spoon to eat banana, and the other sect just eating the natural way. :eat:

Africans have big major issue to tackle. Governance, poverty, Sinjiinis--I mean cleanification of adoon bantu looks into modern standard of beauty --which is to interbreed and produce better looking mulatos.

This is no different from the other forms of indoctrination most people here adhere to like evolution, atheism, spinning ball earth, Appolo, Waaqism, Sufism etc.

In fact it's easier to believe shiasm, doesn't take much of a leap of faith like believing in a spinning ball earth, evolution or atheism, which are concepts riddled with such absurdity that even these village idiots engaged in self-flagellation of low breed would never buy nor take the required leap of blind faith.

Waaqism was our founding religion and monotheist which made the conversion to Islam much easier albeit there was no concept of heaven or hell in Waaqism.

We don't just believe we have proved evolution, rotating planets and the idea of Simpson cartoon god with big floating white robb and white beards sitting on huge chair speaking in deep echo voice over his poor ant like subject questioning them about their recent wanking is silly and frankly pointless because they will masturbate anyways.

Now believing in the semi divinity of some supposedly infallible Arab from the sixth century with notorious reputations is pure rubbish. And worshiping his descendants as Imaams is akin to one worshiping his own ancestor.

Adeer

It was absolutely criminal no one recorded these rich oral traditions and put them down in writing, depending which people you talk to or which old guy from which village, you get a different story, from pantheism, polytheism or monotheism as you stated currently. Maybe you have a great reputable source I can check?

I know your types and see them frequently, anger and frustration towards God for your own inadequacies and miserable existence, filled with consistent failures, I am starting to believe that you have unfortunately gone through some form of molestation, if that is the case, my utmost sympathy.

Smooth you should join Earth is flat society. Few sane people question centuries old scientific discoveries. But then again you are an imbecile that believe the mythology of seven century illiterate Arab and his moderate decendant as mini gods.
