Somali Coach ? you must be kidding, Most African countries have foreign top coaches, Somalia needs to get one if they can afford if not they should look at the top west African coaches and not from low ranking east African countries.

The local Somali soccer club I used to play for were coached by an Eritrean (senior level). There were other White coaches involved as well

The majority of the coaches teach foreign countries so there is nothing wrong with it. Have you watch FIFA?

Almost all of the African countries has white coaches, most Asians had whites as well and EU has coaches from different European countries.

Coaches taught by the country's national/same origin are a minority due to shortage of qualified/experienced coaches. National clubs don't care about your nationality, they care more about your experience.

East African teams are the bottom compared to West and North Africa. They have lots of players in the EPL, Laliga and Serie A etc because of their performance in FIFA and African Cup. We can't even make it to African Cup.

For the lowest cost, Somalia should hire North African coaches, Cote Di'voire was coached by a Tunisian and performed well! These managers will be used to teach and support East African trainees and those who wants to become a coach as part of the team so they can manage their countries in the future.
