Arab league calls for the unity of Somalis and Protection of land and Water territory strong message


A meeting held by the Arab league’s members of parliament in Cairo has issued a statement concerning on Somalia’s division and how to instill unity among the Somali people.

The statement shows that the league fully supports Somalia as the country is part of the 22 countries in the league.

Among the issues agreed were:

To prevent the disunity among the Somalia people.
To seek and ensure the unity of Somalis
To initiate reconciliation programs in Somalia
To fight terror groups and those who are against the unity of Somali people.
To prevent any attempt to interfere with the independence of Somalia .
Arab League, is a voluntary association of countries whose peoples are mainly Arabic speaking or where Arabic is an official language.

It aims to strengthen ties among member states, coordinate their policies and direct them towards a common good.

I hope they also provide whatever assistance they can provide to stabilize the country

Who cares about the Arab league like we're Arabs. Somalis need to stop begging to be Arabs. We are black Cushitic people, and I am proud of that. If I were HSM I would exit that useless league.

It is what it is , only a short sighted fool can disagree with it . I am this , I am that ,bliblibli...blablabla ... the salvation of the somalis rest in their unity . The faster Somalia can gets back on its feet , the faster Somaliland can negotiate with it . Federalism is based on regional disposition. Somaliland is here to stay . Now we need the rest of the somalis to form supra-tribal entities , Isaaq/daarood /gadabursi , daarood /hawiye hg , Daarood marehan,ogaden/hawiye ...so on and so forth .No 4.5 it will crush the daarood { the ones who incidentally invented the system }as it is currently written ! Regional alliances .

Somalia is not a failed state , A strong Somali state will benefit the Arab and Muslim world in all aspect of life

The Arabs are getting overrun by Shia and they didn't give a damn about Somalis for 25 years and are only now asking for Somalis because they want cannon fodder against the Shia. Somalis don't need to attend this conference or take anything from Arabs as they never game a damn about us before and still don't. Let's get our shit together first then we'll talk

The export data, collected by the FAO-managed Food Security and Nutrition Analysis Unit (FSNAU), indicates that Somalia exported 4.6 million goats and sheep, 340,000 cattle and 77,000 camels in 2014, worth an estimated $360 million.

Livestock is the mainstay of the Somali economy, contributing 40 percent to the country's Gross Domestic Product.

Buyers from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Kuwait Qatar and United Arab Emirates have all taken advantage of Somalia's thriving livestock scene and its improved disease surveillance and control mechanisms.

Saudi Arabia, in particular, has contributed to steadily rising exports over the last six years, following a move to lift a 9-year ban on the import of livestock from Somalia aimed at preventing the spread of Rift Valley fever.





More then 50 % of our economy depends on the Arab league

I swear the Arab League were saying the same thing over and over again the last 10 years.
It's only symbolic statement. After all, Arabs are not involved in AMISOM or any military operations in Somalia.
The only thing they've been doing since is providing humanitarian assistance and recently, rebuilding Mogadishu.

Arab league couldn't do anything to Syria, Egypt, Sudan, Libya Plastine etc etc ... The most useless organization ever.
