The model of election Somalia would hold this year has been the center of controversy among Somali government and
regional leaders, with the latest talks in Kismayo resulted in no breakthrough Sunday, heaping worry that such misunderstanding would
interrupt election plans.

Somalia’s government has proposed a presidential election in 2016;however, it dismissed the likelihood of holding popular elections due to security challenges.
Some of the country’s stakeholders suggested that selections of the country’s parliament should be based on the 18 regions while others wanted making selections in line with federal states, significant sticking points that attendants said complicated the talks.
No date has been set for the next round of talks to settle on the type of the election the country would hold.
Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, his prime minster Omar Abdirashid and their delegates have reportedly walked out of the meeting and flown to Mogadishu, however, other leaders including Puntland president are spending Sunday night in Kismayo.
Puntland and Jubbaland leaders have earlier recommended holding the upcoming elections based on constituencies while leaders from Galmudug and South-western states dismissed the idea and instead called for 4.5 formula of election.
According to Somalia’s Provisional Federal Constitution, adopted in 2012, the mandates of the Somali Federal Parliament and of the Government would come to an end in August and September 2016,respectively.
The country still faces security challenges as the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Shabab group continues to carry out violent attacks across Somalia by carrying out guerrilla attacks including suicide attacks and assassinations.

Sheekadu wey carintahay. The effort to gain more representative for PL and JL has failed and now it seems current president will be extending his presidency. This is ofcourse not a good news for PL and JL as they want HSM out

Election based on regional representation is supported by the majority of sacabka Somalis since they are sick and tired of tribalism. Once Farmaajo has been forced to resign, did the people understood that Somali government was working to sabotage election 2016.
HSM is a dishonest criminal corrupted tuug who dgaf about Somalia's well being and only in it to get payed handsomely in nefarious ways.

No one has any concrete proofs just tales and unsubstantiated claims, however from monitoring reports we know that Ahmed Madoobe is carrying out the biggest deforestation project ever undertaken anywhere in the world for a mere pittance ruining our environment, your uncle faroole was exposed by the report as being behind the major piracy and the main financier, Gas sold off our waters to Kenya and insists its not a national matter but should be left to Jubaland, Faroole sold our fish stocks to Iranian's for pittance, these are all FACTS you will find in the report, bring proof or keep it quiet, ilmo jaberti the past 60 odd years screwed this country in unimaginable ways and today you are hoping to send us back to a transitional period

How qabiiliste. I'll be the first to acknowledge that PL has also dabbled in corruption as well as JL. I have no loyalty based on clanism.
HSM had a role in the corruption of British oil company.

There can be no signing of contract to foreign companies on resources without the consent of the President and HSM got paid to sign.

I find it very disturbing that you would defend a corrupt sonofabitch just based on his qabiil. Doqon foqal doqon. What has he done for you?

The people of Somalia need to stop being hopeful. Somalia has had no government for the last 25 years, and it looks like it's going to stay like this. All these leaders have been lying to the people. Somalia is run by AU, Ethiopia and America are pulling the strings. Nobody wants a safe stable Somalia. Especially these politicians, they just want your money, none of them are true patriots. My advice to everyone is everyone go their separate ways. Look at how the former USSR countries benefited since the fall of the empire. While Somalia has gone backwards.

It is not feasible to have mini unrecognized nations in a country economic wise.

Look at SL.

dabbled kulaha, they are and have always been throat deep in corruption, as they say you can't come out of a chimney clean, Somalia is a chimney riddled with dirt thanks to the work of your forefathers, the difference between you and I is that I am at least honest and forthright and give credits when its due, I don't have the cloak and dagger approach you have and pretend to be what I am not

Those biggest and most corrupt with the worst track record going back decade are described as "dabbled in corruption", the ones selling off our shores and destroying our environment for pittance, yet you talk about oil deals.
You loose all credibility the moment you stated your support for gerrymandering ultra qabiilist district based election and shafting the DIR, Rahanweyne and all the minority clan's just so you can gain a foothold, you support ultimately the same formula that caused the uprising by Isaaq and the great civil war, how can anyone take you serious?
Look at gobonimada of Hawiye, despite the gerrymandering, we will still beat you and make gains but unlike you I don't take any pleasure in usurping the rights of DIR, Rahanweyne and all other minority groups like Afweyne did, Hawiye is majority in Somalia but are happy in a 4.5 system were we are all made to be equal, you are the sick individual here

You are a fockin 4.5 apologist saying darod this darod that. No legitimate country uses clanism with politics. Clanism should be left out of politics this is 2016. Dameer, do you think your elders care about you? 4.5 was in place 2012 what has it done for us?
The word dabble has triggered you intensely. As I've stated previously, no foreign company can buy resources of Somali land without the consent of Somalia's President. HSM is personally responsible for every single contract signed to outside companies. I've gave you links to prove that. It's Hutus who shafted D&M and the minorities in the south claiming their degaan and violently oppressing them. Why haven't there been a Hutu majority state recognized? GM is a nus state which is unrecognized because it doesn't follow the dastoor of having two gobol. Hutus want status quo and are in fear of election.
I don't consider gerrymandering because the administrative region existed before the collapse of Somali govenrment. I want to move away from clanism since qabil do not represent shacabka and it encourages more clan fighting. It also strengthen Elders pockets because then politicians will be elected based on their qabiil.
AL shabaab are majority Hutus that's why only Hutu areas are in chaos. Shacabka don't want 4.5 . Clanism is what's caused the failed state and if you really want Somalia to prosper, you'd be supporting representation based on residence.
