Im Just a little bit curious, Somalinet have alot of members i would like to know how many have attained academic qualifications and in wat it has changed their lifes??

LOL. sorry saxiib i have not developed a business to train xalimo's yet. don't worry though i'll let u know when i have the finance to train, but in the mean-time i don't mind schoolin u on a few skills Wink

I hope no one take this as a "show-off" I two years ago graduated with Bachelor of Political Science & Public Policy. Im currently in my second year of my International law courtesy from University Scholarship. Inshalah im schedule to go next year to Jerusalem University for my final two year of my degree God willing.

TZ- good luck with your studies.

I have a degree in Sociology + political science but I am planing to take a two year off from my job to pursue a degree in anthropology.

I am going to minor in athropology, we need more anthropologists especially since we have such a rich culture.

Samatar, anthropology is a field that is regaining some momentum. A few decades back anthropology as a field of study received a bad name because of how natives were potrayed.

I am going native (I am) and write about somali culture (how people arrange festivities).

oh yeah...im doing a law degree..... but im planning to switch it to a journalism and sociology degree insha allah

We need more Somali anthropologists.

It would be nice if we had a book made by Somalis, kind of like what Kenyatta did for his Kikuyu.
