LOL this is what they had to say about Somalis in the UK, in an article that was generally very negative of British Muslims as a whole. The BBC is such an overtly hateful and discriminatory organisation.

But it is only in recent years that significant numbers have been coming to the UK.

Its no vilification its the absolute truth, I see this all the time in London both sexes are as bad as each other, even the bus driver is claiming benefits, the conservatives have made it very tough the past years for those on benefits, everyone is now working, the mar-fishes have closed, the garoobo all started contributing to society, a year ago for the first time ever, I saw several elder Somali women with several kids set up a professional cleaning company, I done my part to help them land several contracts in previous work places, things are looking much better now then under labour.

Did they lie though? For such a small community we've got loads of shit heads and women who think popping out kids counts as a full time job while the father assumes no obligation towards them. I despise UK Somalis, they're very different to Somalis in Africa, UAE and USA. If they banned housing benefit things would change for the better because women would be pickier when choosing a husband I.e they'd choose a someone who'll pay the rent and not a sperm donor resulting in a better society all round.

Very true. It's not just us, it's a UK wide problem. Sometimes the difference between a minimum wage job and benefits is as little as £50, people lose the motivation to work. They're introducing a new style of benefits which promises that you'll be a lot better off at work. It will gradually reduce the amount of benefit paid in line with your earnings instead of stopping it altogether when you find paid work and I think it will do the trick. I sounded like I hate our people here but wallahi I just want kids to grow up in the sort of environment which gives them self esteem to aim higher in life.

The biggest problem people face is rent.
London has the second highest property prices in the world, only second to Monaco. So to avoid this most Somalis claim to be separated. The wife has kids every year and gets a nice amount of benefit. Including the rent being paid for. And the husband is registered elsewhere so he works full time and pays no rent. Genius.

It's not genius to have your father live away from you just to avoid paying full rent. It's better to live frugally as a family unit.

Then he will be working to pay the rent. No money is going to be left after the rent and bills. Also the wife is not going to get a lot of money, because the husband is working, the Kids money is going to be reduced. The only people who are going to be better off are the government. If Somalis never did this there would be no such thing as hagbet/ayuuto

Some people do that, not all. Also it's not a uniquely Somali problem, whites do it, Asians do and blacks do it.
