Ethiopian Postal Services to reach to SL

The Ethiopian Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Ato Debretsion Gebremichael, visited Hargeisa to announce the deal.

The two governments will be taking part in the opening ceremony of Somaliland's first EMS office. EMS is an international postal Express Mail Service offered by postal-operators of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

EMS has over 180 member countries and Ethiopia is one of them (EMS – Ethiopian Postal Service) while Somalia is not a member. Djibouti is a member (La Poste de Djibouti).

My understanding is SL will create official postal services but since it's not recognized state and cannot become a member of International Post Corporation (IPC), it will use the Ethiopian membership to move its postal services/needs.

This is yet another nail on Somalia's coffin and any dream of ever delivering any services in SL.

on top of that Somaliland prepared a well educated group of Somaliland Air traffick controllers, Who will bring Somalia to our knees.
