Those rivers from the Ethio Highlands that pass through Ogadenia and go all the way South and Indian Ocean, should be going through Awdal/Marodi-Jex and should drain to the Gubanka all the way to the red sea Just ya know saying! Indho adaygnimo

Where is that place?
I guess the most fertile areas in the Ogaden is Godey,Afdheer,Nogob iyo Liibaan.

Only in Jarrati woreda do you find Cawlyahan who live with Gaadsan (Biimaal), the rest of this region belong to Dir.

In seeing the beauty of the Ogaden land, now I know why Ethiopia would never let it go...Amazinigly the three most infertile regions, Wardheer, Qoraxeey and Jarar are full of oil and natural gas..Other than those three, every other single region is fertile and rich in agriculture

Ina-Adeer,
Dhulkaas aad baan u aqaanaa waana dhulka ugu geela badan...Qoraxeey, Doolo iyo Doh(Shilaabo) laakiin the average rain they get is not anyting close to the deeper regions in DDSI such as Afdheer, Nogob, Godey and so on...But I agree with you, when it rains, that land could be fertile and beautiful!!!

Walee Ogaadeenka hadda jooga iyo kii hore kala duwan....Our ancestors, God bless them, made sure that their future generations lay claim the best lands yet not too many of us know about. Wether it is NFD, DSSI or Jubaland, our ancestors conquered the best of the best lands in the horn.
