the 40 is wisdom age for men. prophet mohammed started his prophet hood that age.
God said in al-a7qaaf 15;
"....when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."

well you know what they say; men are like grapes that turn into a fine bottle of wine as they age while women are like grapes that shrivel up into raisins.

As long as I found out I am 40 a month ago, I started becoming more calm and started appreciating everyday of my life. I changed my priorities and started becoming more serious in life. It reminded me that, I only have 23 years left to live according to our Ummah age. So I am planning to spend this 23 years wisely insha allah if allah does not cut it short. I am not interested in buying brand new car anymore or going to the Caribbean's for a vacation.
1) Increase my Islamic knowledge to increase my imaan and camal
2) Going to Hajj
3) Investing in a lot of Sadaqatul Jaariyah so I can have my reward after I die
4) Pleasing the parent as long as I can.
5) Avoid thanbi at all and Make istiqfaar for the ones I have committed already.
Well, Maybe building a retirement home in Kenya and Move back.

Nimanka ayaa waxaas isku akhriya. Nobody wants nin duq ah, real talk. Only vulnerable young women can be enticed.
As for topic, yes... Life begins at 40, coz after your midlife crisis, you will feel good as new.
